Hooligan Express, an audio documentary by the non-profit journalism organization iMEdD, was presented at a special hearing at the Green Room, on Thursday March 14th, as part of the 26th Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival. 

The discussion “Talking Heads - Citizen Queer: Overcoming trends and barriers on and off screen” took place on Wednesday March 13th, at Pavlos Zannas Hall, as part of the new initiative of the Agora, Talking Heads, a series of speeches on current issues of the film industry.

The films of the internationally renowned artist Dimitris Papaioannou, Nowhere (Director’s Cut), and Primal Matter, the entire work in seventeen minutes, were screened on Wednesday, March 13th, at Stavros Tornes theater, within the framework of the spotlight hosted by the 26th TIDF, on the great Greek artist. After the screening, a discussion with the Festival’s Artistic Director, Orestis Andreadakis took place, followed by a Q&A with the audience. 

Within the context of the Agora Talks of the 26th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, a discussion on development, distributions and exhibition of XR projects, focusing on the challenges and opportunities, was held on Tuesday March 12th, in the Main Hall of the Music Centre of the Municipality of Thessaloniki.

The final talk hosted by the Agora of the 26th Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival took place on Wednesday March 13th, in the main hall of the Municipality of Thessaloniki’s Music Center, with the support of Media Desk Greece. The discussion titled “We Care a Lot!” cantered around women filmmakers dealing with challenging subjects and traumas, and their approach on balancing between these topics.
